I'm new to this list and I just have one important question (for
me!). How do I optimize/improve my search rankings for my site that
has two domain names? My original ecommerce site (a yahoo store) has
been around for five years and has in-bound links to it. I recently
expanded the focus of my business and gave it a new, second domain.
The new name has a permanent re-direct to point it to my original
site. They are the same site and content. I've noticed that since I've
done this, my sites rank lower. Any questions on how I can improve
this? Does the re-direct help or harm?
