Typically, the ever-modest Mark Ferguson neglects to add himself to the "do not trust" list, but never fear as I am, after all, your friend. "Trust, like respect are earned." ignoring the 3rd grade grammer error, Mark is, once again. correct!
Mark Ferguson - takes spammer money in return for his silence.
Doubt or dispute my conclusion?
1) Ask Mark Ferguson to describe how he applied a massive clue-by-four to the nads of spammer David Linhardtt of e360.com after Linhardt forge subscribed Mark to e360's opt-in lists.
2) Ask Mark for the details on how Attorney Steve Barber at the direction of Quinstreet lied under oath regarding Ferguson v. Active Response Group, et al.,

I have never forged any email address to any list, I don't run a bitch list, I never sent complaints to any bitch list, I don't support answering abuse with abuse.
It is a wonderful thing to see and know where everybody stands.

This is, quite possibly, the biggest lie that you have ever told. The well-known exchange with Vernon where you tried to get him to do the heavy-lifting for your "block list" proves that. You started as a spammer. By your own definition, you use spam as a tool to harass when you don't get what you want. You continued to mail Vernon after he asked you to stop, therefore you are a spammer.
List yourself, you k00k.

I am puzzled by a couple of things.
1. Why you and your friends attempt to perpetuate multiple lies. Granted some idiots will not bother to read the thread where I clearly show that I asked for "formatting" information and nothing else. Where I clearly stated to Vernon I would do the list, my list(s), my server, etc...
But you state here that Vernon would do all the "heavy-lifting".
Even Vernon has backed off that claim when I posted the actual text of the email between us.
For those that don't bother to actually read and get informed, your opinion is worth what I have paid for it, zero.
For those that perpetuate a lie such as Susan, Gary, your friends and you, your opinion is worth what I paid for it, nothing.
The list are going up, the reasons for each list will be clear. For some list there is no way off the list and people can choose to use them or not.
Life is simple, people complicate it.
Respect is earned, not given.
Attention, respect, honor and loyalty are all virtues we value in others more than we do in ourselves.
Abuse and stupidity are one and the same; it is stupid people that think that abuse of others will gain them that which they covet.
These are the things I know. These are the "things" I try to reflect in more words and actions, though I am not always successful and fall short, I still make the attempt.
What ethics and values do your words and actions display?
With this being said, I don't have the time to worry or even give thought to the small individuals here in NANAE and sadly I understand why Paul Vixie and others washed their collective hands of NANAE some years ago.

Yup. Just as someone else has to write the scripting and give it to you before your list magically appeared.

Just because you constantly try to redefine history to be what you want, rather than whatever silly-assed thing you've previously said or done, the rest of us actually operate in reality. You should try joining us some time.

Your behavior makes that abundantly clear.

A grounding in reality for starters. I'd explain more of that to you, but since you have no basis for comparison, I think it'd waste my time and hopelessly confuse you.

Yet you're still here, flogging that list, even though you completely lack the technical understanding required to operate anything of the sort. From my observations over the years, I seriously doubt that you're competent to operate a pocket calculator.

Excellent! You're THIS CLOSE to discovering the value of your new 'list'!

Mostly, people can choose to not use them. In order for people to choose TO use them, you're going to need to figure out how to make them work, first.
> Attention, respect, honor and loyalty are all virtues we value in > others more than we do in ourselves.
Who is 'we'? You got a mouse in your pocket?
> Abuse and stupidity are one and the same;
No, Mark. There are two obvious counter-examples: many spammers are in fact quite smart, and yet still commit a lot of abuse. You, on the other hand, are amazingly stupid, and yet don't commit all that much abuse, comparatively.
> These are the things I know.
Yes. And as has been pointed out many times, you turn out to know quite a lot of things that are completely wrong.

Because, even after given a script that would install Bind if not installed, format the zone file, move it into place, and then tell Bind to reload its data... You still don't seem to have *.tcats.stop-spam.com up and running. My only guess is that you are waiting for someone to hold you hand and get your delegation issues solved for you.

That is wrong, although I've no doubt that Mark Ferguson believes now that he only asked about the format of a DNS zone file (or perhaps a rdnsbld file). He clearly asked for substantial and continuing technical support, starting with a script like the one he recently received. I was probably wrong in thinking he was offering me a piece of his business for my work. He probably felt that since it would be easy for a competent technician to build and run his DNSBLs, my time and effort were worthless, and if it were not worthless, his to demand by virtue of his spam fighting credentials. He was not the first person who showed such attitudes in private email, although he took the most umbrage at my draft resistance.
Many people consider everything they don't know or understand irrelevant, trivial, or worthless. Recall the many FUSSP inventors who think they've contributed everything that matters by having their wonderful ideas and expect the computer elves to write the code and generally make the ideas work.
Almost all of us are competent at something, whether programming computers, running computer networks, fixing cars, or changing light bulbs, and so have encountered many people who think the same way. For that matter, when we were babies, we all took the efforts of adults for granted.
>>Being killfiled is not the same as backing off.
>Only in Ferg's world would Vernon's silence equate to "Vernon agrees >with me!".
No, he is far from the only person eager to interpret silence as acquiescence or agreement. Consider CAN-SPAM Act compliant unsolicited bulk email.
Note that if I'd not objected to his unsolicted commercial email, he would have assumed it was ok to send more, despite his years of insisting that all unsolicited commercial email is spam.

I posted the actual email. It was clear from the start that I didn't want anything but information.
Post the email(s) Vernon, prove I am a liar or prove you are.
God you do go on about nothing. Post the emails Vernon, I did, I can post the complete email with headers to show that they were the actual emails or you can.

For the same reason the Huey believes that you would waste 15 minutes of some abuse desk's time, and the same reason that no one could be bothered to look as see if Quinstreet was on anyone's radar... Because Mark, it's you.
Mark, let me try to put it into language that you might understand; Let's say that one of your fellow appliance movers keeps telling you crazy stuff like; Most microwave ovens need to be plugged into the sewer main, that refrigerators should be vented though the chimney, and that the arrow on the hot water heater that says "install this end up" really means lay the unit on the side and align the arrow to point north. Now, after working with this guy for years, you already know not to trust the technical rantings of ass-clown... There is no need for you to open the directions, and point out to your fellow appliance mover yet again that he doesn't know a thing about appliances... it would be a complete waste of your time to so.
Well Mark, you have proven time and time again that; You don't know what spam is, you don't know how to block it, you have delusions that you are an ISP of some sort, you keep coming up with crazy ways to block spam that do more damage than good, and that your research is wild and inaccurate, which leads to your belief that the FBI spams you with kiddie porn or that IANA is a bullet-proof ISP, harboring spammers on RFC-1918 address space. So much like your fellow appliance mover buddy that thinks that the dishwasher needs to be installed outside because of the diesel fumes, we don't want to hear your crazy ranting about spam.

Mark has provided a great deal of amusement to many parties over the years. Sort of in the same vein of a mentally-disturbed street corner preacher that used to show up on my college campus ranting about women with battery-powered appliances. That being said, it's still amazing to me that he'd actually accuse the FBI of sending kiddie porn out.
AFAIK, he's never actually managed to come up with any semi-coherent as to why the FBI would want to send him kiddie porn. By semi-coherent, I mean a reason less stupid than having accused the FBI of sending kiddie porn out to start. What possible gain could there be in the FBI randomly sending people kiddie porn?
Like most any cause he undertakes, this allegation was senseless, baseless and inane. Even the best of causes suffer when he turns his attention to them. His simply doing so attaches a stigma of stupidity that is nigh impossible to shake.
