For the past few months we have been ranked on the first page for
several terms.

Hi,
For the past few months we have been ranked on the first page for
several terms.
e.g.
galway hotels - 2nd - 5th google.ie - http://galwayhotels.ebookireland.com/
At each "Google Dance" ranks are fluctuating for some days, because the
algoriths are iterating.
Is the situation back to normal now?
When looking at those sites who rank better than you: anything special?

Have you changed servers recently? add a function like search to the
site?
You've got duplicates if not pages with very similar content and
duplicated meta description and titles;
dublinhotels.ebookireland.com/?sort=&town
Use Google Webmaster Tool, list of duplicates will be apparent there,
and specify to ignore the offending variables (aka: treat these pages
as the same)

galway hotels has reappeared on the 1st page but dublin hotels has not
reappeared anywhere.
theres nothing special with the other sites. some are portal sites.
some are individual hotel sites.
may need another few days for dublin to reappear hopefully!
